SCUG, Inc is a user group representing schools that use Jenzabar products and services in the south central region, which includes Oklahoma and any state bordering Oklahoma.

SCUG, Inc. exists to train and aid institutions of higher education in effectively utilizing and shaping software needed to serve their respective educational communities.

SCUG, Inc. operates exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, and to do all things and perform all acts permitted a not for profit corporation under the laws of Tennessee in furtherance of the above purposes within the requirements set forth under Section 501(c)(3) of the internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

About

SCUG, Inc is an independently run non-profit organization operated by an elected board of directors who serve three year terms.  SCUG, Inc collects an annual membership fee of $100 per-institution entitles the following benefits:

  • Communication input with software providers approved by SCUG and facilitated through SCUG, Inc. Board Members.
  • Access to internet listservs devoted to software.
  • Opportunity to vote for and/or serve on the SCUG, Inc. Board of Directors.

Although payment of the annual membership is optional, it is felt that these services will be a tremendous benefit to all Jenzabar-Tulsa users. The revenue from these fees will allow the following activities:

  • Development of SCUG, Inc.’s web site.
  • Board member attendance at all users’ group meetings in order to more effectively serve SCUG, Inc. members.
  • Provide additional resources that support South Central Regional User Group (SCRUG) conferences and research to shape software.

Board

SCUG, Inc. is comprised of elected board members who represent schools of higher education in the Jenzabar-Tulsa region, which includes Oklahoma and any state that borders Oklahoma. Visit  the SCUG Board Members page to view current board members and their contact information.

Board Member elections are held each year, and board members serve three year terms. If you are interested in nominating a person for the board, or are interested in running for a position on the board yourself, fill out the nomination form.

SCRUG 2019 2.0

Save The Date!

The 2019 South Central Region User Group Meeting (SCRUG) 2.0 is scheduled for  October 7-8, 2019 at Rogers State University in Claremore, OK.

The annual SCRUG meeting has always been comprised of sessions for both PX and EX/J1 users.  The new SCRUG meeting format will be similar to prior meetings, but with a few changes.  Registration will begin as usual on Sunday evening, but no formal reception.  Sessions will begin on Monday morning and end on Tuesday afternoon.  The banquet will be held on Monday night.  Breaks and lunches will be provided on Monday and Tuesday.  A great keynote speaker and wonderful entertainment for the banquet have been scheduled.  We will continue our tradition of institutions bringing door prizes (under $10) for the sessions, for those who would like to participate.

If you’re a Jenzabar customer in the SCUG region (Oklahoma or any state that borders Oklahoma), the SCRUG 2019 2.0 conference is for you.  The SCRUG 2019 2.0 conference sessions will highlight J1, EX, and PX software and partners.
