Denise Cason

Denise Cason is currently the Chief Information Officer for North Central Texas College. She has worked for many years in the Information Technology department. Denise worked with the Jenzabar PX (POISE) software for 26 years. In 2014, NCTC made the decision to migrate to the Jenzabar EX product. NCTC has been “live” with EX since July of 2016. During both of these time periods, Denise supported and worked closely with all of the administrative departments.

Denise has had the privilege of serving several terms on the PUG/SCUG Board. She has made numerous presentations at our annual users’ group conferences.

“If elected, I would work with the board to continue communication and support of, all Jenzabar Users. I feel my knowledge and experiences give me some unique insights that can be of benefit to other users. I know that NCTC and I, have benefited greatly from my work with fellow board members and the employees of Jenzabar. I hope I will, once again, have the opportunity to work with the board, Jenzabar personnel and users of our institutions as we continue this journey of administrative computing in Higher Education.”

Michael Dumdei

Mike has worked in Information Technology for over 30 years and has been with Texarkana College since the early 90’s. Starting as a programmer/instructor, he is now the VP of Information Technology, and oversaw the transition from the previous ERP used at the college to Jenzabar EX. He has served on the Jenzabar EX Advisory board and is an enthusiastic supporter of the product. Much of Texarkana College’s success with EX, he attributes to the good fortune of working with an excellent IT staff who do all the work. Mike has an MS in Business Administration and is a first generation college graduate.

Marc Hunter

I am the IT Director for Seminole State College, I have been with the institution for a little over 20 years now where I ran the full gamut of IT positions from desktop support, to server admin, network admin, and now Director, where I still do most of the aforementioned things. Most recently I was “allowed” to be the project manager for the year and a half long conversion from our PX system of 18 years, over to our current system, EX, which has been working pretty well, of course none of that would be possible without the guidance of the dedicated, knowledgeable staff members we have here at SSC that braved the long hard days (probably some nights too) to make EX a reality for us.

Gary Lackey

Gary Lackey has worked as a Programmer/Analyst for 12 years at Brazosport College. During that time I have supported the Jenzabar PX product and worked with departments across campus to improve the system and help achieve student success at the college. As a part of my role to integrate the Jenzabar product with other 3rd party software it is important to stay on top of new technologies and partner with Jenzabar to leverage features that will give us the most out of our Student Information System. On a personal note I am learning Amateur Radio (HAM) and I am married with 2 kids (a 3 year old and a newborn).

Michael Martin

I am the first to graduate college in my family with an A.A. in Business Administration, B.S. in Management Information Systems, and an M.S. in Human Resource Administration. The opportunities my education has brought to me would never have been possible without pursuing a college education. I was hired at Carl Albert State College where I was the Learning Management System Administrator, and instructional designer. I was later asked to take over as the ERP Administrator, and in 2010 was hired as The Director of Information Technology.

Jacob Reichard

Jacob Reichard is the Director of Institutional Research at Fort Scott Community College. Jacob has worked at FSCC since 2012 in multiple roles in the IT department. With an Associates of Science from Fort Scott Community College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Pittsburg State University, he is well suited in his current role at the college. During his time at the college, Jacob has worked closely with the POISE software, utilizing it for reports and finding data to support the projects the college has worked on. He looks forward to continuing to serve on the SCUG board to help further the training and aid of the educational institutions utilizing Jenzibar products.
